Jay-Z was a guest on the Oprah Show “Master class” and opened up about his goals, beliefs and views of the world. In true Oprah fashion he had to get deep and reflect on life. However, on a lighter note, he also discussed fatherhood and admitted that he has a hard time saying “no” to his little angel Blue Ivy Carter.
He jokingly admitted “I’ll probably end up having the worst spoiled kid ever”. We can see where you are coming from on that one Jay…you got 99 problems and money ain’t one! However, raising a healthy and well-adjusted daughter is definitely a problem when she can get everything she wants.
Moral of story: The more you have, the more you can offer your kid. Becoming a multi-millionaire after a childhood filled with poverty has its own set of parenting problems. Is it harder to say “no” to your kids when you grew up poor?
